Teacher: Remember, we have five senses, and I put a picture here on our concept web. It says five senses. So, who can raise their hand and tell me one of the five senses?

Student: See.
Teacher: See. Okay, so, Im going to put a picture of our eyes. And it says see.
Teacher: Whats another one of our five senses?
Student: Hear!
Student: Listen!
Teacher: Listen and hear. Hear. So, here we have a picture, and its pointing to his ears, and it says hear.
Students: Hear!
Teacher: Whats another one of our five senses, [Students Name]?
Student: Taste!
Teacher: Taste! We taste with our tongue. So, heres a picture of the tongue and it says taste. Taste. What else? [Students Name].
Student: Smell!
Teacher: Smell. Smell. So, heres the nose and it says smell. Smell. Whats the last one that we havent put up? [Students Name]?
Student: Hands!
Teacher: What do we do with our hands?
Student: Touch!
Teacher: Touch! We touch with our hands.
Teacher: So we have our five senses up on our web. Lets say them again.
Students: See!
Teacher: See. Lets do hear.
Students: Hear!
Teacher: Lets do taste.
Students: Taste.
Teacher: Taste. Lets do smell.
Students: Smell.
Teacher: Smell. And lets do touch!
Students: Touch!
Teacher: Touch.
Teacher: And what are all these things called again?
Students: Five senses!
Teacher: The five senses. So, were going to use touch right now to see what things are. So, I have something in this bag, and Im going to show you what they are. In the bag, I have this, whats this?
Students: Button!
Teacher: And one more thing, this?
Students: Cotton ball.
Teacher: Okay, so I have a button, a cotton ball, the crayon, the toothpick, and the pasta.
Teacher: I have all the same things in this bag. So, Im going to pick people. Youre going to put a blindfold on. And a blindfold, youre going to use it to cover what?
Students: Your eyes!
Teacher: Your eyes. Youre going to cover your eyes, youre going to stick your hand inside the bag, youre going to take something out, and everybody has to be quiet. Youre going to feel it, and touch it. And youre going to tell us what it feels like, and what it shape it is. Then Im going to take off the blindfold and youre going tell me which one of those things it was. [Students Name].
Teacher: Can you see?
Student: No.
Teacher: Take something, take something out. Now touch it, feel it, tell us what if feels like. Dont tell us what it is, but tell us what it feels like. How does it feel?
Student: Soft.
Teacher: What shape does it feel like?
Student: A circle.
Teacher: Okay, which one do you think it is?
Teacher: Was she right?
Students: Yes!
Teacher: Yes, it was the pompom! And it felt

Student: Fuzzy?
Teacher: Fuzzy! Thats a good word. Fuzzy.
Teacher: Somebody else. [Students Name].
Teacher: Tell us what it feels like.
Student: It feels hard.
Teacher: It feels hard. What shape does it feel like?
Student: A circle.
Teacher: Whats that?
Student: A circle.
Teacher: Is it like a hole?
Student: Yeah.
Teacher: Which one was it?
Student: This one.
