Writing Wall
Understanding the Process of Writing (Virtual Tour)
Transcript
Here is our grade three writing wall, and on this bulletin board we have a spot for every child in our class to display their work from each month. And what we do at the end of every month is we have a week where we go through the whole writing process with each student. They do pre-writing to the drafting, revising, proofreading, and publishing. Once that's done, they do a good copy, they bring it over, and they post it on the writing wall, and each month is then put on top of the prior month, so at the end of the year we have samples of work, September all the way through June. At the end of the year, we can send it to the parents so they can see the growth
