Super words are just that, they're super. They're words that are above and beyond our regular word wall program. At the beginning of the year when I introduced five additional words with the ten that they were studying, some of the students weren't ready for it. There were a lot of difficulties in the spellings. There were digraphs, parts of the words that the students didn't understand and couldn't remember. But with lots of chanting, and patting, and clapping, and cheering the words, they are now all at a point where they can do the super words each and every week.
