The Facts and Opinions Tree
Distinguishing Between Facts and Opinions (Virtual Tour)
Transcript
The Facts and Opinions Tree is a wonderful way for the boys and girls to distinguish between facts and opinions. When we read a story or a book we use the blue sticky notes for opinions and the green sticky notes for facts. After they read a book or a story I will give them two sticky notes, a blue one and a green one, and they have to choose one fact, one opinion from the book and place it on the Fact and Opinion Tree.
