Morning Messages
Developing Concepts of Print, Word Recognition and Rhyming (Virtual Tour)
Transcript
We use the daily message as an opportunity to, again, read and I'll address different teaching points through the daily message. So in this case we're working on reviewing our Pop Corn words we've already learned but also the ending sounds. So I would read this message to the children with the mistakes. "Good morning friend" and I know they would find that silly, how can we correct that mistake that the teacher has made? So the child would come up and find that ending phoneme that would correct the word.
