Letters and Words Center
Practicing Letter-Sounds and High Frequency Words (Virtual Tour)
Transcript
At our Word Center the children work with a variety of manipulatives to practice their letter and word recognition skills. Some of the ones we use are magnetic letters, we use white boards and white board markers, we have small little letter books that the children can use, we have letter tiles, and we have magnetic high frequency words as well. Once the children know the letters and their sounds they can start to construct words and we have a variety of picture cards that they can use, and letter tiles, and they can also use the magnetic letters to compose the words as well.
