A clipboard is essentially a portable desk for any student. The clipboard, an inexpensive item that can be purchased at a dollar store, allows the student to put their work on their portable desk and walk anywhere in the classroom and continue working on that learning concept. You can walk around the school searching for geometric shapes and they've got their hard surface to write on. It makes them feel very important, a bit of an executive walking around with their clipboard, and this can be used anywhere. You can be watching a movie with students and you want them to write down their favorite part as they're watching, use the clipboard.
