This is our sensory station or our creative center. Students are creating tactile pieces of artwork based upon some key vocabulary that we're learning at the moment, these happen to be our color words. Students are using found materials to place upon each individual letter of their color word. What they're learning in this process is that one word applies to various shades of the same color.
Activity Objective
The goal of Fancy Color Names: Practicing High Frequency Words with Arts and Crafts (Virtual Tour) is to provide students with opportunities to practice spelling high frequency words.
