Chants to Build Concepts of Print and Sight Words (Virtual Tour)

This is an example of one of the chants that students take home within the classroom, it's entitled Windy Days. I came up with an activity that they could conduct at school as well as at home where students simply blow bubbles. Students love to see which direction the wind is traveling and at what speed it's traveling by watching their bubbles. They also like chanting this song at the same time as they watch their bubbles blow.
Activity Objective
The goal of Blowing in the Wind: Chants to Build Concepts of Print and Sight Words (Virtual Tour) is to help students develop concepts of print and promote motivation for literacy by having the students use props and actions as they read aloud.
