Having a Plan of the Day is a great idea. Students need to know what is happening when. What I typically do is I change the day at the end of the day so that students are well aware of what will be happening when they arrive at school. I like to do this so that if they have certain subjects such as Phys Ed or music, they are able to come prepared and the next day is not a complete surprise when they walk into the classroom.
