While I'm in the guided reading center there are students that are sitting at the science center working in cooperative learning groups, talking about various things that are in nature. And so, the students were asked to go outside and find various things, and they collected those things from nature using magnifying glasses and other science tools.
Activity Objective
The goal of The Science Center: Integrating Science and Literacy (Virtual Tour) is to promote the enjoyment of writing by integrating literacy with science and to encourage students to write for an authentic purpose.
