Teacher: We're going to work with some words. We're going to talk about these words. We're going to dissect these words. Is everyone ready?

Students: Yah!

Teacher: Very good. We have spelling words, we have our vocabulary words, and we have our high frequency words. Now we know what spelling words are, but where are our vocabulary words normally found? [Student's Name].

Student: In our story.

Teacher: In our story for the week. Very good. What about our high frequency words? What does that mean? What are high frequency words, [Student's Name]?

Student: Words that we see all the time.

Teacher: Words that we would normally see when we're reading. Very good. Let's begin with our spelling words. We're going to say, spell, and

Students: say.

Teacher: Very good.

Teacher and Students: Called. C-A

Students: L-L-E-D. Called. 

Teacher and Students: Cleaned. C-L-E-A-N-E-D. 

Students: Cleaned. 

Teacher and Students: Learned.
