Student: My favorite part is when the gingerbread man ran away from the old woman.
Teacher: Very good. [Student's Name]'s favorite part of that story was when the little gingerbread boy ran away from the old woman. What about you [Student's Name]?
Student: My favorite part when the gingerbread boy got ate.
Teacher: Okay. His favorite part was when the gingerbread boy was eaten. Who was he eaten by?
Students: The fox.
Teacher: The fox. Very good. [Student's Name]?
Student: My favorite part was when the gingerbread man was getting tricked by the fox.
Teacher: Okay. [Student's Name]'s favorite part is when the little gingerbread man was getting tricked by the fox. [Student's Name]?
Student: My favorite part that when the gingerbread boy ran away from the old man.
Teacher: Okay. [Student's Name]'s favorite part was when the little gingerbread boy ran away from the man. Let's take one more. [Student's Name]?
Student: My favorite part was when the fox had tricked the gingerbread man to get on his nose, so he could eat him.
Teacher: Very good. Those are a lot of great ideas. Boys and girls, we're going to go back to our seats and we're going to take our pencils and we're going to draw our favorite part of that story. After we draw our favorite part of that story we're going to color it. We're going to make it look beautiful, okay? Then after we color it, we're going to write one sentence about that picture. Do you all think you can do that?
Students: Yes ma'am.
Teacher: Well very good.
