In my school the boys and girls are divided into two separate classrooms. I have the girls in the morning and I have the boys in the afternoon. As part of our measurement unit, in the fall I will measure the children and place their names on the wall. That's the boys side this is the girls side. And throughout the year they notice how much they've grown. At the end of the year I will mark again to show the children how much they've grown, throughout the year, within our classroom.
